Bio

Agustín was born in 1978 in Buenos Aires. He started studying drums and percussion with Facundo Ferreira, Quintino Cinalli and Eduardo Casalla.

In 2000 he graduated from Palermo University with a degree in marketing. In 2003 from ITMC (Contemporary Music Institute) he reached a college degree in professional drummer. In 2008 he ended the Superior Course in Harmony and Music Composition given by Juan Carlos Cirigliano for three years at Argentine Society of Authors and Music Composers (SADAIC). In order to enrich his musical career he made several study-trips: NY - USA (2003), Curitiba - Brasil (2004), La Habana - Cuba (2005) and Montevideo-Uruguay (2008).

He has performed live in many opportunities, such as at VIII International APAC Theatre Festival, Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, 2011, Jazz Plaza Jazz Festival, La Habana, Cuba, 2005, 1st St. George Jazz Festival, 2008, Music for Identity, organized by Madres de Plaza de Mayo, 2004, to name a few.

He has more than 10 years of experience in teaching drums and percussion.

He has made many recordings with different formations and playing many languages. Nowadays, he is presenting his fourth album - Will - and he is improving his composition with Guillermo Klein.
