I've registered a VST plug-in but
have not got the email with the download information. What if I did not receive my product?
A: After your purchase, when payment is received,
registration is
delivered
by email (usually be sent within 24 hours of
payment on
weekdays and weekends).
Please allow less than 24 hours to receive the download to registered version of your software, as this is a manual process.
Usually we are much faster, but if you order from outside America, please keep the different time zones in mind.
If you used a valid email address and still
didn't receive our download link, there are a few things you can
check:
-
First,
make sure your email account can accept emails coming from us *@syntheway.net
or accept at least contact@syntheway.net
email address.
-
Also,
make sure your email security settings aren't too high otherwise it
will mistake
this email as SPAM/JUNK E-MAIL.
-
Lastly
take a look to your SPAM folder. This is the most common
reason why email cannot be delivered.
-
Once
you have corrected all issues with your email account you must receive
download information without problems.
-
If you
continue having problems then please email us at: support@syntheway.net

Q: What are SoundFonts?
A: SoundFonts are a file format originally developed by Creative Labs,
the makers of the "Sound Blaster" series of audio cards. SoundFonts are
"simply" collections of audio samples, with keymapping parameters,
encapsulated into a single file. You "load" the SoundFont *.SF2 format

into a powerful instrument. because you can add several
instruments/drumkits and can be modulated with
Fantasize's functions and by MIDI Continuous Controllers.
Q: Why is there a delay between the
moment I play a note on my keyboard, and the moment I hear the note
through my speakers?
A: This delay is due to the latency of your soundcard. To get a better
latency you should use a soundcard with ASIO drivers.
Q:
What's MIDI CC? A:
Short for "MIDI Continuous Controller", a specific kind of MIDI
message. The modulation wheel of your synth, for example, sends out

Additive
Synthesis is a technique of audio synthesis which creates musical timbre. The timbre of an instrument is composed of multiple harmonic or non-harmonic partials (individual sine waves), of different frequencies and amplitudes, that change over time. Additive synthesis allows the emulation of sounds by giving control over the frequency and amplitude of each individual harmonic or partial. Q:
Do your plug-ins support MIDI CC?
A: Yes.
Check individually on each plug-in page (or
help button in GUI) for FULL
MIDI Automation. We offer a precise
definition of the MIDI
Continuous Controller.
Q:
What's vibrato and
tremolo?
A:
Confusingly,
vibrato is
sometimes referred to as tremolo.
Basically, tremolo is variance in volume, and vibrato is variance in
pitch. Tremolo is a
regular and
repetitive variation in amplitude for the duration of a single note.
Vibrato is a musical effect where
the pitch or frequency of a note or sound is quickly and repeatedly
raised and lowered over a small distance for the duration of that note
or sound. Q:
What's a free reed aerophone
instrument?
A:
A free reed aerophone is a musical instrument where sound is produced as air
flows past a vibrating reed in a frame. Air pressure is typically generated by
breath or with a bellows. Click

Aerophone Instruments

Q:
What about support? A:
We maximize our efforts to answer on all questions during one business
day, even provide free support to unregistered users that want to buy our products.
Please before writing to us, take a look at the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) and if you can't find the answer you are looking for,
send us an email
with the following information:
Syntheway Product (Check that you have latest version)
Host Application (Name & Version
number)
A very detailed description of the
problem
We intend to respond to your queries, but we will naturally give priority to registered users.
Your inquiry will be answered in the order in which it is received. Sometimes due to the volume of e-mail received, there may be some delay.
Phone support: currently we don't provide phone-based support. We found that sometimes we need to request some test from the customers or we help you
by giving a screenshot (screen capture) or video, or providing detailed information step by step about related
issue (VST host application or VSTi software), or direct links to certain FAQ pages, so we found that support via email is more effective than phone-based support.
Anyway, we usually reply on emails during the same business day.

Q:
What is RAR file extension? I sent the rar file to VST plug ins folder.
Is this

No.
The demo files sometimes are compressed with WinRar for minimum file size. RAR is a
format like ZIP. It is a compressed archive.

Like unzipping a *.zip file, extract "*.rar" into VST Plug-ins Folder.
(RAR Contains "*.dat" & "*.dll" files). Right click on
*.rar, select 'extract Files' from the menu. Also
you can use
- 7zip www.7-zip.org or
- Winzip v12 or above www.winzip.com/prod_down.htm Q:
